South of the Border Mac
Similar to a Frito Pie but much better. The cheese is thick and creamy with a bit of spice which adds that South of the Border flavor. In addition to the Panko garnish, the sprinkling of Fritos adds a nice crunchy texture to the dish. You will definitely slip into a food coma if you’re able to finish the dish.

If you’re obsessed with mac n’ cheese, Mac Daddy is Heaven on Earth for you. Mac Daddy serves a wide variety of creative takes on mac n’ cheese dishes. If for whatever reason you can’t find something that you like, you even have the ability to customize your own mac n’ cheese dish. Unlike the vast combinations of choices for your mac n’ cheese, the space is on the tight side.

Mac Daddy’s packs a diner-esque theme into a extremely small space. It’s literally a single bar with about 10 seats facing an open kitchen and a couple of small tables inside and outside. If you plan on dining in it’s probably not the best place to come with a large group. I must say the benefit of such a small space with an open kitchen is the smells really envelop the room. If you love the smell of cheese then this is the spot for you.

Mac Daddy is true to it’s slogan, “Definitely not your momma’s mac n’ cheese.” The creaminess of the cheese and the creativity of the toppings make Mac Daddy a must visit. I can already imagine coming back here after a run or if I feel like drifting off into a food coma.
